About the Louisville AIDS Walk:
The Louisville AIDS Walk heightens awareness of HIV/AIDS, unites the community and raises money to address the needs of local people who are living with HIV/AIDS.
The Walk’s proceeds are distributed to multiple local, non-profit HIV/AIDS service organizations that provide critical direct services such as food, housing, medication assistance, medical and dental care, counseling, legal assistance, transportation to and from medical appointments, life-skills workshops and more for people in Louisville and Southern Indiana living with HIV/AIDS.
About the Kentuckiana AIDS Alliance
We Fight to Conquer AIDS … And Support a Community of Caring.
The KAA combines dozens of services and thousands of supporters into one passionate and energized network that makes a difference in our community. We play a critical role in providing ongoing support for those living with HIV and AIDS—while also preventing the spread of HIV through education, engagement and outreach. We represent a collaborative, community-wide effort to help families, friends and neighbors in need.
For more than twenty-three years, our signature event, the Louisville AIDS Walk, has raised over $4 million dollars to fund important HIV/AIDS programs and services. These services and supports directly benefit our community by funding critical programs in Metro Louisville and 20 other counties in Kentucky and Indiana.
“Drag Me To Brunch!” is a service mark of the Derby City Sisters, Inc., a Kentucky-based 501(c)(3) non profit corporation.
