Join our team in the local fight against HIV/AIDS!
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence® began in 1979 in San Francisco, California. The Sisters held the first-ever fundraiser for AIDS patients in June of 1982. Back then the disease was known as GRID (gay-related immune deficiency) and this was before the discovery of HIV and the coining of the acronym AIDS. Sisters around the world have worked ever since to raise awareness and funds for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Our chapter in Louisville began in 2014, and we have participated in the Louisville AIDS Walk ever since, raising nearly $10,000 overall.
Drag Me To Brunch! is the flagship fundraiser of the Derby City Sisters for the Louisville AIDS Walk, bringing together local restaurants and drag entertainers to provide an unforgettable entertainment experience while raising funds for the Louisville AIDS Walk in partnership with the Kentuckiana AIDS Alliance.
